Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on 14th September 2026.
want everyone who visits my website to have a positive experience, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use to access the web.
Accessibility means making this website easier to navigate, understand and interact with for people with disabilities, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control.
As a photography and creative direction portfolio, this website is naturally very visual. I am committed to making the experience as inclusive and accessible as reasonably possible while continuing to showcase the visual work that defines my practice.
Accessibility Approach
I aim to follow the principles and recommendations of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, an internationally recognised standard for improving web accessibility.
I continuously work toward improving accessibility across the website, including:
-
Providing meaningful alternative text for important images wherever appropriate.
-
Maintaining clear and logical page structures and headings.
-
Using readable typography and sufficient colour contrast.
-
Making navigation and interactive elements accessible through keyboard controls where possible.
-
Ensuring the website is responsive and usable across different screen sizes and devices.
-
Avoiding unnecessary animation or motion that may make the experience difficult for some visitors.
-
Using clear and descriptive links, buttons and instructions.
-
Regularly reviewing the website and addressing accessibility issues as they are identified.
Photography and Visual Content
Photography is a central part of this website. While images are an important part of the experience, I aim to ensure that essential information is not communicated through imagery alone.
Where appropriate, images are provided with descriptive alternative text. Decorative images may intentionally use minimal or empty alternative text so that they do not create unnecessary distractions for people using screen readers.
Some creative or portfolio imagery may inherently be difficult to describe in full through alternative text. If you require additional information about a particular project or image, please get in touch and I will be happy to provide further context.
Known Limitations
Despite my efforts, some areas of the website may not yet be fully accessible to everyone. Photography portfolios can include complex visual layouts, galleries, animations, embedded media and third-party content, and these elements may occasionally present accessibility challenges.
I am continuing to review and improve the website and welcome feedback about any barriers you experience.
Feedback
If you experience any difficulty accessing or navigating this website, please let me know.
I welcome feedback about accessibility issues, suggestions for improvement, or requests for information in a more accessible format.

When contacting me, it is helpful if you can describe the page you were visiting, the problem you encountered and, where possible, the device or assistive technology you were using.
I will make reasonable efforts to respond to accessibility-related feedback and work toward providing an accessible alternative where possible.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time task. I will continue to review the website as new content, projects and features are added, with the goal of making the experience more inclusive for everyone.
